The UHealth Tics, OCD and Related Disorders Program is dedicated to the academic study of and innovative treatment for tics, Tourette’s disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and related disorders. Here, you will receive comprehensive, personalized care for a variety of behavioral health conditions.

From your initial evaluation through your entire course of treatment, our team takes a collaborative approach to working on your case so you’ll receive personalized, top-notch care. Our center is proud to be part of the Tourette Association of America’s southeast regional Centers of Excellence, a prestigious designation that recognizes the best care centers for Tourette’s disorder across the United States.

Many individuals with Tourette’s disorder or OCD may also have other medical problems, such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), impulse control disorder or depression. This means treatment may involve a variety of inpatient (hospital stay) and outpatient (clinic) therapies to help manage your disorder. Because the program is located within the University of Miami Medical School’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, our patients have quick access to experienced specialists in others areas of mental and behavioral health care, such as ADHD and depression.
