A Message from The University of Miami Sports Medicine Institute

Thank you for registering to attend the 14th Annual Student Leadership Day, presented by the University of Miami Sports Medicine Institute. We are looking forward to a day of inspiration, connections and meeting you, once again IN-PERSON.

To help you prepare with ample time, below are some details you will need to know for this exciting and eventful day!

Date & Time: 

  • Friday, June 23rd, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

CHANGE OF LOCATION:

 
  • The event will now take place at the University of Miami Newman Alumni Center, located at 6200 Amaro Drive, Coral Gables, FL 33143
    PLEASE NOTE: this is different than the Watsco Center – we have moved to a more ideal setting on campus.

Check-in (REQUIRED):

 
  • Check in will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m., with breakfast served. The program will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Parental/Guardian Consent (REQUIRED): please ask your parent or guardian to complete the below linked forms.  Please note this form is REQUIRED – for your safety and comfort – in order to be permitted to join the event.

Parking:

 
  • Complete the Parking Registration: https://www.offstreet.io/location/SVMCNHTN
  • After the license plate number is entered, you will be asked for the following code: 0623
  • Parking is valid in Gray Zones, Park Head-In Only
  • Drop off and temporary parking can be done at the front driveway or students & parents can park in the back to get down
  • Having a parent or family member drop you off and pick you up is the recommended option.

Dress Code:

 

Business Causal (i.e., what would you wear to a high school or college admissions interview?)

 
  • Guys: Slacks, Khakis or Jeans with open collar or polo shirt.
  • Girls: Dress Shirt or Blouse
  • Both: Comfortable Shoes

Permitted Participants:

  • This event is only intended for high school students. Parents or older siblings, friends are not allowed to stay during the event. If you are not a high school student, please opt out from the registration.

Media Consent (REQUIRED):

 
  • Photos and video will be taken during the event, for use on UHealth media channels (i.e., social media). Please complete the below linked form.

Meals:

  • Breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided.
