Patient- and Family-Centered Care

About Patient- and Family-Centered Care (PFCC) at UHealth

Patient- and family-centered care is working "with" patients and families, rather than doing "to" or "for" them.

The Division of PFCC promotes relationships in health care by working with people of all ages, at all levels of care, and allows them to determine how they want to participate in improvement efforts.

We recruit patients, family members, and caregivers to share their experience by serving on councils, committees, and initiatives throughout UHealth. Our goal is to empower patients and their loved ones to be active in their care!
