  • UHealth achieved Florida’s first Nurse Magnet with Distinction® recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC)—an achievement that fewer than 1% of U.S. hospitals hold.

Delivered 98 presentations at the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting and 158 at the 2025 American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting, marking all-time records at these scientific meetings that underscore innovation in cancer care.

Opened the Kenneth C. Griffin Cancer Research Building, UHealth SoLé Mia Medical Center and expanded our Plantation radiation oncology facility, offering expert cancer care to more patients across South Florida and beyond. We now operate across 11 satellite locations and one office in Southwest Florida.

Launched one of the few dedicated Survivorship and Supportive Care Institutes in the U.S., providing evidence-based holistic care for patients beyond treatment. The new institute is the culmination of nearly a decade of innovation within Sylvester’s Cancer Survivorship and Supportive Care program.

Raised nearly $100 million through the Dolphins Cancer Challenge and celebrated 10 years of Sylvester’s Firefighter Cancer Initiative, helping to reduce cancer risk among first responders.

Became the first U.S. cancer center to earn ISRS Certification for stereotactic radiosurgery treatments.

Who Can Vote? Board-certified physicians in one of the 15 adult specialties recognized by U.S. News & World Report who are active on Doximity can vote. If you’re not yet a member, you can join and register during the voting window to participate.
