Adolescent & Young Adult (Ages 15-39) Program

Adolescents and young adults with cancer have unique needs during treatment.

These individuals — ages 15 to 39 — are at the beginning of their adult lives. If this is you, we know you are balancing life's challenges like finishing school, having children, and maintaining relationships despite your cancer diagnosis. Through careful treatment planning and comprehensive support, you can still achieve these goals with minimal delays.

The team at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center recognizes your needs and challenges as a young adult with cancer. We have developed the AYA Program to provide comprehensive services and support tailored to you and your stage of life. Our mission is to help you fight cancer, live a healthy lifestyle, find support throughout your cancer journey, and achieve an overall high quality of life.

Our cancer care experts and support resources will help you manage your health. We give you access to clinical trials, fertility preservation services, support groups, and other services designed to improve your wellbeing throughout and beyond your cancer treatment.

We are your care team. We understand the challenges you face. We are ready to offer you the long-term support you need so you can lead your best life.
