The 2025 International Firefighter Cancer Symposium will be held on February 20-21, 2025 in Miami, FL.
Every year, the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Firefighter Cancer Initiative looks forward to hosting the IFCS and ending the event with the Dolphins Challenge Cancer event. The IFCS is our opportunity to bring together members from the scientific, academic, firefighting, government, and labor/management communities to support the reduction of cancer risk in the fire service. Together, our mission is to extinguish cancer.

Join Team Hurricanes - Firefighters VS. Cancer to help us raise funds to further cancer research. Every dollar raised goes directly towards cancer research. Firefighters, bring your family, friends, and crew-mates. We will sponsor all firefighters plus one family member, waiving all registration and fundraising minimum fees.
