Tests

Consultation - Each patient receives a thorough evaluation to discuss medical and family history, health and their reasons for wanting cosmetic treatments. Our experts evaluate the patient’s facial features and discuss treatment options, risks, and recovery.

Blood Tests - To ensure safety, your doctor may request bloodwork before your treatment to see if you have any infections or blood disorders and to see how well kidneys and liver are functioning.

Treatments

Topical Skin Care - We offer a variety of topical skin care treatments to address each patient’s needs based on skin type. These include facial cleansers, eye creams, anti-oxidant serums, anti-pigment creams, anti-redness creams, retinoids, and sunscreens, all to help protect and treat the skin from environmental factors.

Eyelash Growth - Many people do not realize that eyelashes thin as we age. Our physicians have conducted and published research on the effects of bimatoprost on eyelash growth. Called Latisse®, this solution is very safe and is the only FDA-approved solution indicated to grow lashes longer, thicker, and darker. Our knowledgeable physicians and staff will address any questions or concerns regarding this prescription product.

Chemical Peels - Chemical peels help improve the skin tone, creating a more even surface. We offer peels of various strengths, depending on each patient’s needs. Chemical peels are safe, quick procedures with very little, if any, downtime.

Botulinum Toxins - The neuromodulators Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin (botulinum toxins) weaken targeted muscles that contribute to facial aging. In this way, they smooth wrinkles and lines on the forehead, around the eyes, between the brows, around the nose, mouth, and neck. All three medications are FDA-approved, safe, and effective. The treatment is very quick with no downtime. Effects last about four months.

Dermal Fillers - This non-surgical enhancement restores volume to areas of the face and hands that are showing signs of aging. We use FDA-approved products only, administered by experts in the field. A full variety of dermal fillers and stimulators, tailored to each individual, is available. Effects of dermal fillers can last up to two years or more. For best results, they are used in combination with other cosmetic enhancements, such as neuromodulators.

Neck Injections - Kybella® (deoxycholic acid) is an FDA-approved injectable medication used to dissolve fat beneath the chin. For optimal results, this treatment is used in a series, typically spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart.

Laser Resurfacing - This non-surgical procedure stimulates collagen to correct fine wrinkles and pigmentation. We use various lasers to treat different needs that fit each patient’s lifestyle. Some are more aggressive than others, achieving quicker results, but requiring more downtime. Others require little or no downtime, but may require more treatments. Different laser therapies also treat birthmarks, tighten skin, get rid of unwanted veins around the eyes, and remove unwanted hair.

Light Therapy - Pulse light therapy decreases photoaging that causes pigment spots and vessels on the face and body. This technology is also used to treat dry eyes.

Skin Tightening - Infrared light therapy tightens tissues on the neck and abdomen. Radiofrequency is also used for this purpose around the delicate eyelid region. As an added benefit, radiofrequency tends to decrease the symptoms of dry eyes. Our physicians were among the first in the nation to use this technology for dry eyes and Meibomian gland disease.
