The Personal Exposure Reporter (PER) is a free online application to allow firefighters to keep a digital record of on-the-job exposures that can be analyzed by researchers for cancer risk factors related to firefighting. The data collected as part of this Personal Exposure Reporter is maintained solely by the University of Miami and is not shared with any Fire Service, union membership, or government agency. Any firefighter can create their own PER by clicking here: http://per.miami.edu. The firefighter is also able return to their account at any time to download a record of their personal exposures.
Below is an instructional video to learn how to create your own account and enter information.
