Dolphins Cancer Challenge (DCC)

The Miami Dolphins are a proud partner of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC) to support their mission to reduce the human burden from cancer through research, education, prevention, and the delivery of quality patient care. Launched in 2010, DCC participants can ride, walk, run or volunteer in the effort to raise funds for cancer research at the SCCC.

For more information, visit the Dolphins Cancer Challenge homepage.

Cure by Design

Cure by Design Miami is an event in which corporate community joins forces with local designers and cancer survivors to benefit the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives, celebrate lives and lead the fight for a world without cancer. The highlight of the evening is a program that celebrates local Sylvester cancer survivors of all ages and of all cancer types, who share their inspirational journal and rock the runway.

Festivities included a brunch held for cancer survivors and their families, the Crucial Catch Halftime show where survivors were honored, and a check presentation to the Cancer Center.
