Biomarkers are an indicator or response that the body creates to the presence of cancerous cells. Here, we use biomarkers to deliver personalized treatments to individuals with glioblastomas (a specific type of quickly growing brain tumor). Our specialists use biomarkers to develop targeted therapy that has a higher likelihood of effectively treating your glioblastoma than traditional, “one-size-fits-all” therapies.

When we have a deep understanding of each patient’s tumor, this leads to better outcomes. Using biomarkers to understand the characteristics of your brain tumor cells is truly a giant step towards the future of personalized medicine. Our team is proud to offer this customized therapy to our patients, who travel here from across the state of Florida, the United States, and the world.
