In fact, Sylvester recently announced its newly dedicated Myeloma Research Institute, which performs clinical trials to explore new drug and treatment combinations and much-needed clinical therapies and cures. Each patient’s plan is mapped from the genetic level for greater outcomes.

In the same way, the Sylvester Pancreatic Cancer Research Institute produces innovative research and essential connections between scientists and clinicians to increase the number of treatment and clinical trial opportunities for those with pancreatic cancer, one of the toughest-to-treat.

OUR PURSUIT

Sylvester is a pioneer in groundbreaking cancer research and care. As part of its relentless pursuit of cures, Sylvester’s Transformational Cancer Research Building (TCRB) is under construction and will be a state-of-the-art, premier research facility that will bring hope to patients in South Florida and beyond. Slated to open in 2025, the TCRB will stand as a 12-story, 244,000 sq. ft., ultra-modern facility in UHealth’s downtown Miami campus.
