In an effort to support the community, UHealth partnered with Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden and Downtown Doral to plant orchids throughout Downtown Doral Pocket Park. Alongside Mayor Christi Fraga and members of the community, we're proud to collaborate to conserve these important native plants.
AUGUST 6TH 2024 AT DORAL LEGACY PARK
The Doral community came together for an evening focused on safety awareness, crime prevention, and building partnerships with local police ahead of the school year. Residents received free backpacks and visited UHealth's "New Neighbor Door" for back-to-school giveaways, as UHealth Doral Medical Center introduced itself to the neighborhood.
JULY 4TH AT TRUMP NATIONAL DORAL
The July 4th Celebration at Trump National Doral dazzled residents with a 20-minute fireworks display, marking a festive Independence Day. UHealth Doral Medical Center welcomed the community with its "New Neighbor Door," offering guests a special welcome gift as the newest addition to the Doral neighborhood.
APRIL 4TH 2024 EDUCATIONAL ORCHID PLANTING IN DOWNTOWN DORAL CHARTER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
In a collaborative effort, 100 students from Downtown Doral Charter Elementary planted 800 orchids along Paseo Boulevard, with UHealth supporting the initiative as a symbol of its commitment to the community. Downtown Doral will care for the orchids, ensuring they thrive and flourish as part of the vibrant local landscape.
