Course Objectives
Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Apply ocular imaging technology in the diagnosis of ophthalmic diseases and in the evaluation of treatment response.
- Review the safety and efficacy of laser and incisional surgical procedures for glaucoma management.
- Recognize common pathogens and determine appropriate antimicrobial therapy for ocular infections
- Develop effective patient education strategies for chronic ocular conditions, including diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration.
- Assess risk factors and surgical outcomes associated with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment.
