Bascom Palmer Eye Institute invites you to join us in February 2027 for our 24th annual angiogenesis meeting. This unique and exciting symposium entitled Angiogenesis, Exudation, and Degeneration 2027, will be held virtually on February 6, 2027 and on February 13, 2027. The program will feature an exceptional group of basic scientists, clinician scientists, and healthcare experts, all focused on understanding and treating neovascular, exudative, and degenerative diseases of the eye.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Angiogenesis 2027 continues the tradition of excellence established by Bascom Palmer’s widely acclaimed annual Angiogenesis Meeting/Program, since 2004. The event will be presented as a two-part program on Saturday, February 6, 2027, and Saturday, February 13, 2027. Designed for retina specialists, general ophthalmologists, researchers, and industry professionals, the course will review the latest advances in imaging, translational research, and clinical trials, with emphasis on their impact on clinical ophthalmology.
The February 6 session will focus only on age-related macular degeneration (AMD), highlighting investigator-initiated research, emerging therapies, and both ongoing and recently completed clinical trials related to diagnosis and treatment along with the addition of panel discussions featuring international experts.
The February 13 session will focus on retinal vascular diseases, including diabetic retinopathy and retinal vascular occlusions, with emphasis on emerging therapies, clinical trial results, and advances in patient management.
Across both sessions, faculty will present the scientific and clinical advances shaping the future of medical retina care and improving patient outcomes.
