Marla Bercuson is an accomplished communications professional with 25 years of experience. As executive director of business operations at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, she leads and manages the strategies that enhance the hospital’s reputation and brand, and develops and implements processes to support and improve operations and quality throughout the Institute. She is a cum laude graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Marla also oversees the Ophthalmology Research Foundation and the Bascom Palmer Alumni Association. Prior to joining Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, she served as executive director of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival and director of the commerce and professions division of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation.
