This unique and exciting symposium will be held on Friday, February 19 and Saturday, February 20. You have the option of joining us in-person at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, or from the comfort of your home through our interactive virtual program. We hope you will join us!
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This two-day, interactive course is designed for comprehensive ophthalmologists and specialists whose practices include cataract, cornea, refractive surgery, and anterior segment disease. Through case-based presentations, clinical vignettes, panel discussions, and practical surgical pearls, expert faculty will address contemporary approaches to diagnosis, treatment selection, surgical planning, complication management, and patient counseling.
Topics will include: advanced intraocular lens selection; complex cataract and anterior segment reconstruction; corneal imaging, ectasia, and refractive surgery; ocular surface and infectious disease; limbal stem cell deficiency; endothelial disease and keratoplasty; and emerging applications of regenerative therapy, artificial intelligence, telemedicine, and remote monitoring. Emphasis will be placed on applying current evidence, recognizing the limitations of evolving technologies, and individualizing care to improve visual and clinical outcomes.
