The Samuel & Ethel Balkan International Pediatric Glaucoma Center is the world’s first integrated services center dedicated to helping infants and children with glaucoma. The Balkan Center was made possible by a generous gift from Donna May Balkan Litowitz, with her husband Bob, in honor of her parents, Samuel and Ethel Balkan.
Founded by Alana L. Grajewski, M.D., the Balkan Center offers a first-of-its-kind multi-disciplinary approach to diagnosing and treating pediatric glaucoma. The different treatment specialties include:
