Research Focus

The Eye Cancer Epigenetics Laboratory at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute investigates the epigenetics of ocular cancers, in particular uveal melanoma and retinoblastoma. A prime focus lies on utilizing the gained results to develop new treatment angles for these cancers. Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), as well as organoid models are used to model metastatic spread and investigate tumor biology.
