Naming and Endowed Fund Opportunities

You may make a gift in honor of someone or to associate a donor’s name with a major project, facility, or endowment via a number of available funding opportunities.

Capital Projects

Capital project naming opportunities for programs, areas, services, centers and institutes are available in our Miami, Naples, Palm Beach, Plantation and Coral Gables facilities.

Endowed Funds

Establishing an endowed fund is a wonderful way to make a gift in perpetuity in honor of someone or to associate a donor's name with a major project, facility, or endowment. 

Endowed Faculty Chair $3 million

(Senior: Faculty member with tenure; or a full professor, if not on a tenure-earning track) To help retain or recruit a faculty member and fund or supplement compensation, research and staff support.
 
Endowed Jr. Faculty Chair $1.5 million

(Junior: Faculty member on a tenure-earning track; or an assistant/associate professor, if not on a tenure-earning track) To help retain or recruit a faculty member.
 
Endowed M.D. Fellowship $1 million

To provide salary support for an M.D. who has completed his/her residency and is pursuing specialty training to gain additional experience.  Commitments are usually one to two years.
 
Endowed Post-Doctoral Fellowship $500K

To provide salary support for postdoctoral fellows beginning their careers in research or for fellows wanting to refocus their area of study. Commitments are usually one to three years.

Endowed Named Speaker Series $250K

To support the costs of a featured speaker for an alumni event or an event presented by a School or College.

Endowed Research Funds $250K

To provide supplemental support for promising research projects.
