Bascom Palmer
Virtual Visits

bring our doctors directly to you.

Bascom Palmer is committed to your care during the current COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. We have implemented telehealth (virtual visits) to provide your eye care remotely depending on your eye care needs.

How does telehealth for eye care work?

A virtual visit with your eye care professional can determine if you are experiencing an eye emergency. Telemedicine helps your doctor determine if your eye condition can be safely treated at home, or if you need an in-person visit at one of our locations.

Your video visit is a scheduled appointment with your doctor using your cellphone, tablet or computer with a webcam. All virtual visits take place on a secure telehealth platform through University of Miami Health System’s MyUHealthChart.com.

Scheduling is easy.
