Gynecologists also diagnose and treat health problems in women, like menstrual issues, hormone problems, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and cancers. Other concerns to discuss with your doctor are persistent or recurring pelvic pain or if you notice any changes in your breasts, such as lumps, pain, or nipple discharge.
