Before joining the University of Miami, Keith Murphy served as the Executive Director of Corporate Supply Chain for the Yale New Haven Health System in New Haven, CT. In that position, Keith was responsible for co-creating and implementing strategic solutions that focused on the triple aim of reducing costs while improving quality and outcomes through the standardization/utilization of products and services. Before his role at YNHHS, he served as Director of Contracts and Inventory for AT&T.

Keith is responsible for creating and implementing strategic solutions for UHealth that are focused on the triple aim to reduce costs while improving quality and outcomes through the standardization/utilization of products and services. Keith received his B.S. in Business from the Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, CT.

Associate Vice President, Supply Chain Strategy & Value Analysis

Nate began his healthcare career journey in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, which sparked his passion for improving the human experience and the health of others. Upon discharge, he continued his work and studies in San Diego, where began scrubbing in and assisting cardiac surgeons in the Open Heart Surgery units during heart repairs and restoration procedures. He then moved to Miami to work at Baptist Health, overseeing the Departments of Surgical Services and honing his business acumen as he transitioned from the clinical environment to the Administrative path.

After eight years at Baptist, he took on the challenge of leading Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Supply Chain Department as the Associate Vice President of Supply Chain where his efforts led to a financial turnaround for the organization, allowing them to expand operations and build a Free-Standing Emergency Department in Hialeah, Mount Sinai Medical Center, Skolnick Surgical Tower, and the Hildebrandt Emergency Center. After 12 years at Sinai, Nate joined UHealth, where he now oversees a number of areas within the Supply Chain Division.

Amy Lopez-Welch began her career at the University of Miami in 1997. Since then, Amy has held several roles, including Senior Buyer, Director of Purchasing, and Director of Sourcing at University Purchasing. Amy earned her Bachelors Degree of Business Administration in Management and International Business at Florida International University and a Master of Business Administration in Management from the University of Miami. She is also a certified Six Sigma green belt.

Amy served as a Board Member in the South Florida Chapter of the Institute for Supply Management for many years and has also served as a mentor in the University’s Big Brothers/Big Sisters program. Amy has also served as a mentor in the University’s Supplier Diversity mentor/protégé program.

Rosa Neely began her career at the University of Miami’s Medical Campus in 1995. A decade later, she transferred to the main campus in Coral Gables to join the College of Arts and Sciences and manage the Air Force ROTC Detachment. She later joined the Central communications Office in the department of Media Relations, where she honed her communications and operations skills alongside some of the nation’s top communications experts. Rosa was then promoted to Director of Communication and Special Projects.

After many years in higher education, Rosa returned to the healthcare sector by inaugurating the University of Miami’s Health Systems, Supply Chain Services Division in 2018. Rosa is a three-time alumna, proudly having completed her bachelor’s degree, master’s in liberal studies, and master’s of public administration at the University of Miami. She is accomplished operations and communications professional with over 25 years of experience and institutional knowledge. Rosa also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Miami Dade College in the Department of Arts & Letters, where she teaches public administration and humanities.
