Research Interest
Dr. Roper's laboratory investigates chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy, specifically the adverse orosensory side effects of oxalitplatin and cisplatin. To study these side effects, Dr. Roper's lab uses genetically-engineered mice and sophisticated scanning laser confocal calcium imaging to record sensory ganglion neuron activity in anesthetized mice.
