What is Health Research?

Health researchers work to find better ways to prevent and treat disease. Our health research studies can be done from the comfort of your home or in a University of Miami Health System clinic or office setting. (Some studies may also offer compensation for your participation.)

Why is Diversity in Research Important?

Medicines and treatments can have a different effect based on a person’s gender, race, and ethnicity. If our volunteer populations don’t represent all of us, scientists cannot determine if the results can be applied to all people equally.

Progress is Powered by Participation

Medical breakthroughs happen when people like you participate in research studies.
