UHEALTH TOWER CONSTRUCTION UPDATES

UHealth Tower is undergoing exciting renovations to enhance your experience as a patient or visitor. The project features a new 16,000 square-foot lobby and reimagined main entrance offering improved vehicular flow for smoother access to our hospital. The updates include comfortable indoor and outdoor seating areas, enhanced reception areas, new office spaces, restrooms and elevators.

We appreciate your patience as we will experience temporary closures and detours throughout the renovation. Updates on closures and alternate entrances are listed below.

The 12^th Avenue main entrance is currently closed for construction.

Parking & Valet Services

During construction, access to the parking garage will be via 14th Street only (1295 NW 14th St.).
Valet service for patients and visitors will be available exclusively at the West Lobby from 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
West Lobby Entrance: 1321 NW 14th St.
The East Lobby entrance will remain open, accessible only from the 3rd floor of the parking garage. A construction barrier will be installed on the walkway to ensure the safety of those traveling to and from the garage.
Campus Loop shuttle – for patients needing to access other medical will be at the West Entrance

How to enter the hospital

If you will be a patient of our Main Operating Room (OR), please use the East Lobby entrance on the 3rd floor of the 1295 NW 14th Street parking garage.
If you are having a GI Procedure or going to the Ambulatory OR, please use the 1st-floor entrance from the 1295 NW 14th Street parking garage.
If you are coming by a ride service (Uber, Lyft, taxi), please have them drop you off at the West Lobby entrance at 1321 NW 14th Street.
If you are coming by Metrorail, exit at UHealth/Jackson stop and follow the signs for pedestrian walkway through our North Entrance.
