Eric D. Wieder, Ph.D.
- Research Associate Professor
- Assistant Director of Shared Resources and Technology Development
Dr. Wieder's research focuses on immunology in the context of stem cell transplantation as a treatment for hematologic malignancies. His expertise is in complex multi-color flow cytometry and in assays of immune function. A major focus of his research is to develop strategies to improve understanding of virus-specific immune recovery and to reduce graft-versus-host disease in allogeneic stem cell transplant recipients. He also has worked collaboratively to perform immune monitoring and perform immune biomarker studies in novel clinical trials.
