- Assistant Professor of research in Depth of Urology. Oncology research (prostate cancer)
I have been engaged in basic science research for over ten years and am committed to a career in translational Urology research. My goals are to (1) understand the link between normal embryonic development, malignant conversion and tumor progression; (2) identify the molecular mechanisms that lead to the loss of normal differentiation and affect the tumor microenvironment, and (3) work in an interdisciplinary manner to apply this knowledge in order to revolutionize the way prostate cancer is treated. During this process I envision to establish myself as an independent investigator.
