Psychosocial aspects of cancer disparities in Latino populations. She is especially interested in preventable cancers, such as cervical cancers, or cancers for which screening is available, such as breast and colorectal cancers. Dr. Buki has done work on early detection of all the cancers mentioned, both in the U.S. and abroad. She has also studied breast cancer survivorship in Latina women in the U.S.
