Research Interest
Dr. Lisse primary interest includes the role of vitamin D signaling in skin and bone cancers, e.g., squamous cell carcinoma, osteosarcomas. He is also targeting the mTOR pathway via vitamin D signaling. Dr. Lisse is also interested in combination therapies and cutaneous formulations of vitamin D analogs to treat skin cancers. Moreover, he is interested in the tyrosine kinase signaling and regulation within skin cells (e.g., melanocytes).
