Physical and emotional transition, done with great care and research, aligns your outer appearance with your inner identity. Any path you choose on your journey is appropriate.

What is important is that you feel secure, comfortable and healthy along the way. Here at the UHealth, our medical team and staff are committed to serving you during this exciting time.

Your choice of providers and program is determined by many factors including the credentials of the doctor or health care provider, our commitment to excellence, the friendliness of the office and hospital staff, our location, and value. We believe that our comprehensive and detailed approach makes UHealth the premier choice.

It would be our privilege to work with you to manage all your health care needs. Please reach out to us with any questions you have. We look forward to serving you at the U.

Please note:

Patients under the age of 18 will need parental consent for genital procedures. For patients with Gender Identity diagnosis, our physician staff will follow the guidelines of the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH). These guidelines are established to ensure that you are fully prepared for surgery. They recommend one/two referral letters prior to undergoing surgery. These letters must be from an experienced mental health professional, who you have worked with for over a year. Letters must state that gender affirming surgery is the correct course of treatment for the patient.
