Our board certified specialists treat diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus. They specialize in minimally invasive approaches for colon and rectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease using this single port laparoscopic surgery (SILS) as well as robotic procedures.

Colorectal cancer is often treated using surgery to remove the diseased sections of the colon. Today, our colon and rectal surgeons can perform this surgery using minimally invasive techniques. In fact, they specialize in it. Rather than opening the abdomen, they use a thin laparoscope to view and access the patient’s. Then, they perform the entire surgery through tiny incisions, using the scope as a guide. These procedures result in less discomfort and a lower risk on infection.
