What to Expect

If your surgeon has requested that you bring special garments with you to the hospital, please bring those on the day of your procedure. Body contouring is performed under general anesthesia (fully asleep). This procedure typically requires staying one to two nights in the hospital and recovery usually takes two to six weeks – depending on the extent of your body contouring.
