Research
Our research focus is on the genomics and epigenomics of multiple myeloma. We utilize patient samples to elucidate genomic markers associated with high-risk disease and disease progression, as well as treatment resistance mechanisms. We also take these genomic markers and determine how they cause high-risk disease using cell and animal models.
A major area of interest is in utilizing patient-derived xenograft models with multi-omic technologies to understand the 3D topology of the genome and how chromosomal abnormalities affect gene expression, topological interactions, DNA methylation, and chromatin states.
