Here at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, we go the extra mile to help you and your family feel comfortable and cared for while you’re undergoing cancer treatment. That’s why we offer ancillary services — such as EBeauty wigs, pastoral care, and other programs — to help make your time with us as smooth as possible.
Losing your hair while undergoing cancer treatment can be devastating. Please ask about our EBeauty wig exchange program. Call 305-243-5966 or email email@example.com.
At Sylvester, we realize the importance of caring for your spiritual and religious needs. Clinically trained chaplains are available for you and your family to provide spiritual counseling, support, and comfort. Chaplains are part of your health care team.
Chaplains are nondenominational and interfaith in their approach and offer you and your family the opportunity to review and reflect on your spiritual concerns. In addition, our chaplains can facilitate referral for community clergy and/or your own clergy. Our pastoral care team is committed to providing spiritual well being and related concerns during and after your cancer treatment.
Our Interfaith Chapel, The Jill Selevan Chapel, is located on the first floor of UMHC, across from the cafeteria. It is open 24 hours a day.
