If your child is experiencing behavioral or anxiety-related difficulties, we are here for you. Our structured, evidence-based therapy sessions are designed to fit your family’s needs:
- 12-18 weekly sessions, each lasting one hour.
- Delivered in-person or via secure Telehealth.
- Personalized coaching and skill-building techniques tailored to your child's needs.
PCIT: Helping You Manage Challenging Behaviors
The PCIT program is for parents of children ages 2-7 who struggle with behavioral concerns.
- Learn effective strategies to respond to difficult behaviors.
- Use positive reinforcement, calm discipline, and structured commands to encourage positive interactions.
- Strengthen your relationship with your child through guided play and engagement.
PCIT-CALM: Helping You Reduce Your Child’s Anxiety
The PCIT-CALM program is for parents of children ages 3-9 experiencing anxiety, fear, or social discomfort.
- Learn how to provide positive attention and gradual exposure therapy to help your child face fears.
- Receive real-time coaching to help you support your child during anxious situations.
- Help your child gain confidence and feel comfortable in situations they previously avoided.
If your child is 8-12 years old and has a history with child protective services, we encourage you to contact us to discuss available support options.
What to Expect During Sessions
- Initial Assessment: We work together to understand your child's unique strengths and challenges.
- Skill-Building Exercises: You will learn practical techniques to reinforce positive behaviors or help your child gradually face fears.
- Live Coaching: Your therapist provides real-time feedback while you interact with your child, ensuring you're applying techniques effectively.
- Progress Monitoring: We track improvements over time and adjust strategies as needed.
- Graduation from Treatment: You and your child will complete therapy when you demonstrate mastery of PCIT or PCIT-CALM techniques and see meaningful progress.
Signs Your Child May Benefit
- Behavioral Challenges: Regular tantrums, defiance, or struggles with following directions.
- Anxiety & Fear-Related Concerns: Avoiding social situations or reluctant to go to school, feeling afraid of separating from loved ones, worrying too much, being overly afraid of specific things or objects like dogs or needles, has difficulty talking to new adults or peers.
