Dr. Collin’s group is interested in the molecular and cellular mechanisms that regulate neural circuit development and modulation of activity. They use the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans as a model system. They are interested in using the unique genetic tools available in C. elegans to define how TGFbeta, EGF, Gq, Go, and lipid signaling regulate reproductive behaviors.
