Research Focus

The Morey lab focuses on how chromatin modifying enzymes regulate oncogenic programs and how perturbations of epigenetic pathways can be exploited for therapeutic interventions. We use experimental and computational technologies to determine how signaling pathways, transcription factors and chromatin regulators regulate oncogenic programs. In addition, we model germline mutations of genes encoding for Polycomb proteins essential for proper human development using human embryonic stem cells and mouse models
