Apple Health

For years, keeping track of your own medical records was a challenge. Held in multiple doctor's offices or health systems, you were required to log into each health care provider's electronic records system, and piece together your health information manually.

Now, the University of Miami Health System has teamed up with the Apple Health app to make it easier than ever to find, review, and securely store your health records.

You can see all your health records, including medications, immunizations, lab results, and more, from multiple health care providers all in one place on your iPhone, iPod touch, or Apple Watch.

The University of Miami Health System is among the more than 25 (and growing) health systems in Florida that support this capability.

Note:

  • This service is available to patients who have an iPhone updated to iOS 11.3 or later.
  • Your privacy is our priority. Your health data is protected with encryption from your passcode, Touch ID, or Face ID on your iPhone.

After you add an institution, the Apple Health app automatically updates your health records periodically. If there's an issue with your health records, contact your provider.
