Research Focus

The main research interest of our laboratory is the molecular and cellular bases of tumor development and progression. We investigate the role of physiologic stressors such infections and tissue injuries in gastric and esophageal malignancies and use this new knowledge to develop more effective cancer preventive and therapeutic strategies.
