Personal Exposure Reporter
The Personal Exposure Reporter, known as PER, is a free online application that allows firefighters to keep a digital record of on-the-job exposures. Researchers analyze these exposures for cancer risk factors related to firefighting. The PER data collected is maintained solely by the University of Miami and is not shared with any fire service, union membership, or government agency. Any firefighter can create their own PER account by clicking here:

Firefighter Cancer Support Network
The Firefighter Cancer Support Network (FCSN) provides assistance and one-on-one mentoring to cancer-stricken firefighters and their families. FCSN also delivers extensive firefighter cancer awareness and prevention training nationwide.
Florida Firefighter Safety and Health Collaborative
The Florida Firefighter Safety and Health Collaborative provides free training, protocols, and guidelines that support best practices for safety and health in the fire service.
Cancer Education for Firefighters
The FCI team has created 10 videos that provide guidance and step-by-step instructions for proper on scene decontamination and a FAQ segment to address common concerns in the fire service.
