2021 Annual Virtual Survivorship Celebration Event

The purpose of this yearly event is to celebrate the cancer survivorship journey with survivors and their loved ones. The celebration includes speakers, music, and the opportunity to meet with healthcare providers.

Dolphins Cancer Challenge (DCC) & Living Proof

The Miami Dolphins are a proud partner of Sylvester and support their mission to reduce the human burden from cancer through research, education, prevention, and the delivery of quality patient care. Launched in 2010, DCC participants can ride, walk, run, or volunteer in the effort to raise funds for cancer research at Sylvester.

For more information, visit the Dolphins Cancer Challenge homepage.

Cure by Design

Cure by Design Miami is an event in which corporate community joins forces with local designers and cancer survivors to benefit the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. The highlight of the evening is a program that celebrates local Sylvester cancer survivors of all ages and of all cancer types, who share their inspirational journal and rock the runway.

Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer Celebration

In partnership with the Miami Dolphins, The American Cancer Society, and the NFL, Sylvester takes part in the Crucial Catch celebration for cancer survivors to support the fight against cancer. Festivities included a brunch for cancer survivors and their families, the Crucial Catch Halftime show where survivors are honored, and a check presentation to Sylvester.
