Blood cancers pose unique challenges, but the physicians and staff at Sylvester are equipped with the tools to care for you and your family. Patients may feel tired or weak during treatment and may require frequent blood transfusions, especially during treatment.
For patients who have received a bone marrow transplant, talk to your physician about the ongoing treatment and monitoring required. Additionally, you may have a higher likelihood of developing certain infections, so it is important to learn about your risks.
At Sylvester, you will receive individualized treatment plans tailored to your disease. We will work hard to deliver the best possible treatment for you and your family.
