Research Focus

The biobehavioral statistics and data science laboratory uses statistical analysis and data science to model behavioral health outcomes. We work with public health informatics based on administrative data. We work closely the Florida Node Alliance of the National Institute on Drug Abuse' National Clinical Trials Network and the National Institute of Mental Health funded Center for HIV and Mental Health Research. We focus on geospatial data visualizations to support community-based research and machine learning approaches to uncover individual-level treatment effects.
