Stephan Schürer, Ph.D.

Stephan Schürer, Ph.D., is the lead investigator on a $7.5 million grant from the National Human Genome Research Institute’s Molecular Phenotypes of Null Alleles in Cells program, a comprehensive effort to understand the function of every human gene. His team includes researchers from the University of Miami, the European Bioinformatics Institutes, Queen Mary University, and the University of Washington. They will build the MorPhiC Data Resource and Administrative Coordinating Center at the University of Miami, one of five being developed around the country during the program’s first phase.
