Introduction
The Sylvester Data Portal (SDP) is a multi-omics research platform (accessible at sdp.miami.edu) facilitating the storage, management, analysis, and sharing of research and clinical datasets generated at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. SDP is a resource available to University of Miami Researchers and Staff that provides informatics support services to streamline and enhance cancer research and treatment, which increasingly rely on the use of genomic and molecular sequence data.
SDP leverages state-of-the-art cloud-computing and software development technologies to provide a secure, scalable, and modular infrastructure for multi-modal data types and diverse functionalities. The goal of the portal is to centrally manage, integrate, and analyze key data sources across the cancer center and support the increasing data needs of Sylvester researchers, clinicians, and technical staff.
